Fashion Friday: LINX by Mark Morton

May 01 2014 – April Bush

On Sunday, I had an amazing time at the Southern Woman's Show in Raleigh.  It's always good to get out and SHOP! The thing I enjoy about The Southern Woman's Show is the "find" and there were only a handful of vendors that made me 'gasp'.  Jewelry Designer, Mark Morton of Linx by Mark Morton definitely stood out with his handcrafted designer earrings.  I literally was the moth to the flame.  As I walked by his booth all I saw was sparkle! Pleasantly surprised by EVERYTHING I picked up.  As a fashionista, stylist and blogger you are always on the lookout for that 'it' piece or the item that will get you or your client stopped on the street with gasps and 'awes'.  Every piece that I picked, I imagined with something in my closet.  These earrings were so versatile to be worn either day or night.
Mark's designs are hand crafted swarovski crystals and cruelty-free exotic bird feathers.  All of his exotic feathers are harvested from rescued birds.  Both collections are eye-catching and breathtaking.  Not only are pieces ready-to-wear, but Mark custom designs pieces for clients.  A former stylist and boutique owner, Mark understands the plite of a fashion maven and creates statement jewelry that says 'Mark Your Own Style'.  All of his designs are high-end and definitely a worthy investment.  With pieces averaging $150 per pair, you are definitely paying for the artistry and fashion in every design. I am definetly a fan and will be purchasing my investment piece soon!
