September 30, 2013 – April Bush

This September has been chockfull of exciting fashion.  This week I chose my Top 50 fashion design houses that I enjoyed during fashion week for NY, London, Milan and Paris.  Today I am sharing #1-10.  Enjoy!
Rebecca Minkoff Spring/Summer 2014
WHY I LIKED THIS COLLECTION:
I really liked this collection because it was sporty and fun.  Rebecca really does cool girl well. The mix of the graphic t-shirts and sporty track jackets has me excited to dress down by dressing up!
Kenzo Spring/Summer 2014
WHY I LIKED THIS COLLECTION:
Modern and fun! I like the creative way the suits were styled perfest for a fashionista with a creative career and it's a classy way to go out for a night on the town and not wear a body con dress--- I'm over them!
Herve Leger Spring/Summer 2014
WHY I LIKED THE COLLECTION:
This collection was full of golden zippers, leather, and flirty fringe! I like the color-blocked fringe it was unique.
Balmain Spring/Summer 2014
WHY I LIKE THIS COLLECTION:
This collection took me back to the 90s lots of denim and overall jumpers.  I love hardware and there was no shortage of that in this collection! LOVE Balmain!
Badgley Mischa Spring/Summer 2014
No one does a gown like Badgley Mischa.  I have worn a gown from the fashion house for a gala and loved it.  This awards season watch for one of these gowns on your favorite starlet.
Lanvin Spring/Summer 2014
WHY I LIKE THIS COLLECTION:
I likes the sheen and lame in the collection.  It was very office chic meets Studio 57. Lanvin is another one of my favorite fashion houses! This collection is great.  Maybe you're not head to toe lame but at least get a blazer! LOVE IT!
DKNY Spring/Summer 2014
WHY I LIKED THIS COLLECTION:
DKNY celebrated 25 years and it was a fun collection. Very sporty girl meets NY city.  It was an ode to the 90s with the patches on the denim reminding me of when I was a teen drawing on my jeans...back when it was cool.
Burberry Spring/Summer 2014
WHY I LIKED THIS COLLECTION:
This was quintessential lady-like looks BUT it had lots of jewel---OVERSIZED Jewels! The pastel color pallet is apppropriate for spring and although I am not a springtime and pastel and flower girl this was done in a modern way.
Nina Riccci Spring/Summer 2014
WHY I LIKED THIS COLLECTION:
The crisp clean color pallet was perfect! I love the take on menswear and the feminine approach.  I love a great coat and blazer. This collection has great coats and blazers!
Elie Tahari Spring/Summer 2014
WHY I LIKED THIS COLLECTION:
Very tropical and modern.  I like collections that show an arthecechual element and this collection showed lots of archectechual elements.  Lots of leather and sports pieces.
BCBG Max Azria Spring/Summer 2014
WHY I LIKED THIS COLLECTION:
I loved the jumper particularly and the asymmetrical cuts of the skirts.  There were longer lengths of skirts with sheer cutoutts and it was soft and cutting edge with an archectechual element as well.
