SUMMER OF STYLE

Calling all future fashion designers ages 8-18! Learn to make your fashion dreams come true. Our one week summer fashion camp will consist of lessons on how to build a fun and creative fashion brand.

Students will:

✂️CREATE IT! Students will create a mood board, design a custom textile design a logo, brand colors, and more!

✂️ SKETCH IT! Using techniques that professional designers use, students will sketch their ideas.

✂️ DESIGN IT! Miss April will assist students in cutting, sewing, and upcycling their creations.

✂️ STYLE IT! Students will style their products with items by creating accessories and more to coordinate with their designs.

At the end of the week students will take what they have learned and showcase their designs in the Fashion Fair, FRIDAY June 9th 4:30 pm -5:30 pm. We’ll enjoy treats and fun with family and friends to celebrate students’ hard work.

Classes begin

June 5-9; 11 am-4 pm at Miss April’s Workshop 121 Court Square N downtown Talladega

What to bring:

- A fashion friendly attitude. Miss April loves smiles!

- Lunch , snacks & water bottle

- A folder to keep all of your handouts

- An old, used or new item of your choice to upcycle ♻️

ABOUT THE CLASS INSTRUCTOR

April Clark is a former celebrity stylist , fashion editor and entrepreneur with over 15 years of fashion and beauty business experience. She currently owns Miss April’s Workshop in Talladega where she designs children clothing and toys.
