ICONIC COSMETICS CAMPAIGN

Dear Friends & Family!

I am really excited to update you on my new career! In March of 2013, I launched Iconic Lifestyle Inc. as a part-time entrepreneur.  My full-time position was the director of development at a private university. Earlier this summer I was laid off! Shocked and at a crossroads I sprung into entrepreneur mode.  On August 31, 2013 I decided to take all the hard-work I dedicated to launch Iconic Lifestyle part-time to now do it full-time.  Do you want to know why I felt this was the right move? Well, I fast-tracked my business by putting myself on a 90 day LOCKDOWN from May 2013 to August 2013.  Not knowing that my full-time job would be obliterated I operated in faith that this business can have full-time functionality with part-time hours.  I changed my routine to rise at 4 am every morning to post to social media and blog on my businesses behalf, write and research my first eBook, research partnerships and make contacts via email, create products and plan a launch party for my first brand born of Iconic Lifestyle—ICONIC LUXURY NAIL COLOUR.  It was a tiring but rewarding effort. In that time I wrote goals, hired a business coach, and began a journey to create a business that would make my dreams come true!

When the notice came of my unemployment I did get emotional, but then I shook off my tears and started to chuckle—“THIS IS IT” this is what happens when you visualize, pray, and confess—THINGS MANIFEST!  This was God’s way of saying, “According to your faith be it unto you…” I rejoice in the journey I am embarking on! By the time my “90 day lockdown” was over I had launched Iconic Luxury Nail Colour, Finished my eBook “Manic Monday Makeover: How to Plan A Stylish Workweek”, created personal styling packages, became a Blogging Contributor for Lucky Magazine (www.luckymagazine.com) I also attended the Lucky Fashion and Beauty Blogger Conference in NYC with international and national bloggers, celebrities and editors, created products – apparel, fashion tech accessories, house wares etc., worked with beauty and nail bloggers to feature my nail polish nationally, partnered with Lacquerous (www.lacquerous.com) a luxury nail subscription service based out of NY that works with designer beauty brands to bring runway nail polish to subscribers for a monthly fee. In addition we are being sold in a high-end boutique in Raleigh and more have inquired.

My vision is to be the ultimate women's empowerment brand.  The products serve as a conduit to provide the means to motivate and inspire women to be ICONIC! I want to offer products that give back philanthropically, educate, empower and inspire women. I am looking for speaking opportunities to motivate women in business and life.  This is a platform that will benefit millions of women! I am excited to create philanthropic partnerships that support women and children’s charities. I’m on my way to creating a brand that inspires women to be the best they can be and to live their dreams like I am.  I want the brand to give women permission to have the best, be the best so they can give their best! It’s what I wake up excited to do, to give and create a beautiful life.

I have invested thousands of dollars in my business and it is time to take the brand to the next level.  It’s time to turn this into a viable business that can hire and create job opportunities not just for me but for other women.
